I am Graphic Designer and Animator. In 2014 I got my first BA Degree from Damascus University of the Arts in Graphics. My Bachelor Dissertation was rated 88/100, which was the highest score among my fellow students. In 2019 I got a second BA Degree in Communication Design from University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, Germany.
Since 2014 I have been creating and implementing methods and projects. I am specialized and have experienced in the Creative Fields of Branding, Illustration and Motion Graphics. Furthermore, I have profound experience and knowledge in all Printmaking Techniques such as Print silk screen, Metal-cut and Lithography. I worked also as a Freelancer for many clients in Europe and the Middle East (Dubai, Syria, Lebanon)
In 2017/18 I worked at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin on the development of a smartphone app called Balsam, that would be made available to refugees as a digital therapy tool. I was responsible for the design of the animations and pictures of the app.
Being in Germany and continuing with my studies I was exposed to political and social aspects of design and how to be critical through it. My Ideas are a fusion of those "Schools". I think, I keep on being a Syrian designer living in Berlin, but inspired from global issues.
